Fox Bay Lodge is located in Southwest Alaska, a location considered by many to be the perfect fishing spot as it has some of the best sport fishing in the world. Fox Bay Lodge is located in the area of Bristol Bay, nestled on the waters of the Naknek River. Its lakes and tributaries produce diverse species of rainbow trout, arctic char, lake trout, northern pike, grayling and Dolly Varden trout. These trout are not stock fish; they are wild rainbows from the waters of the Naknek. All five species of Pacific salmon migrate throughout the Bristol Bay tributaries and number in the millions. This area of Alaska is the last great haven for wild trophy rainbow trout and has the largest salmon runs in the world.
